The London Design Museum moved to its new home in Kensington in late 2016, the following year I was commissioned to photograph both the interior and exterior spaces of the building for several clients. Housed inside the former Commonwealth Institute the building had undergone a well received renovation by British architect John Pawson.
From the perspective of an architectural photographer the large central atrium and the parabolic roof structure - retained from the original building - allow for some incredibly dynamic images. This selection of my photography documents the buildings interior, including the exhibition halls and a few areas not often seen by the public. For a more detailed account please read my post on photographing John Pawson’s London Design Museum.
