Velvet Corinthia London
Formerly the Corinthia London’s bar Bassoon, award winning interior design studio David Collins Studio have reimagined the interior space of the luxurious Champagne and cocktail bar now operated by cocktail legend Salvatore Calabrese. The original furniture has been re-upholstered in shades of rouge and royal blue and the addition of deep red velvet curtains now provide a glamorous feel. Newly commissioned artwork by Robson Stannard can be found placed either side of a central marble fireplace and throughout the bar.
The interior photography aims to capture the luxurious ambience and warmth of the candle and lamp lit furniture, where the textures and colours simultaneously emerge from and dissolve into the darkness.
